My Christmas break was pretty much AMAZING. I dragged Nic off to Europe to spend a little time with my parents and we had a fantastic time. Plus, my parents LOVED her, Dad, especially.

Of course, now that I'm back in Chicago, I am missing a certain blonde horribly. I may have gotten just a little bit spoiled over break.

I miss Nic
I spent a little time in Atlanta recently and I have to say coming back to Chicago wasn't easy. For one, the weather is so much nicer in Atlanta. It's a shame I can't just spent all of winter there. Of course, there's a certain someone in Atlanta that I'm missing a little bit, too.

I had a great time in Europe over Spring Break. It was good to see my parents. I did miss Chicago, though. It was nice coming home.
One week into the quarter and I'm already tired of school, though. It really sucks that we have school until June when everyone else gets out in May. Lame.

Claases are starting back up tomorrow.
I can't help but think this is some form of cruel and unusual punishment, particularly when Lori has another week of her holiday left and I would much rather be spending the time with her than in class. Clearly, I should have chosen a school in Georgia for the lengthier winter vacation.
In other news, the parents are in Europe, so I have the house to myself. Perhaps I should be using this to my advantage and planning a party. Next Friday or Saturday, perhaps?
I have mostly been avoiding the post-holiday crowds at the malls since Christmas, but I think I may venture out for awhile. I have some exchanges to make as well as some things I need to purchase.

How are finals starting on Monday already? It really doesn't feel like the semester should be over already. I have to admit that I'm looking forward to the end of finals, though. I don't predict that I'll be getting a lot of sleep in the next several days, but a month of vacation is definitely going to be a good things.

It's amazing how even from several hundred miles away, my parents can drive me absolutely crazy. Last year, they chose to spend the holidays in Europe, where I was very conveniently living at the time. This year, they're planning to go someplace tropical. You know, because they haven't spent the entire last month in Italy.
I haven't made up my mind whether I'll be joining them. I have friends coming home to Chicago for the holidays and I'm not sure I want to give up the opportunity to spend time with them.
It's strange to think my first semester of college is nearly over. Of course, that means finals aren't very far away. I am definitely not looking forward to that.

It's really hard to believe that the summer is coming to an end already. Wasn't it just June? I demand a recount! Or something! I am starting to think I must have been crazy to sign up for classes when I could have been a slacker and spent my afternoons shooting hoops at the park well into the fall.
It'll be a good distraction once Lori goes back to school, though
Lori, do you want to go swimming later? We don't have many days left, do we? :(
